2 arrested for DWI in same car | Crime

A single traffic stop ended with two people arrested on charges of drunk driving the same car.

Just before 10:30 p.m. Friday, March 8, Kennett police arrested 48-year-old Douglas Dye and 49-year-old Karen Moody, both of Portageville and charged them with driving while intoxicated.

According to a news release from Lt. Tim Trowbridge, public information officer with the Kennett Police Department, officers observed the couple switch places behind the steering wheel before they were stopped.

Dye was also charged with driving without a license.  He is currently in custody at the Dunklin County Jail.
