Police investigating deadly domestic dispute | Crime
A Bootheel Missouri man is police custody following a deadly domestic dispute.
Around 3 o’clock Thursday morning officers with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety were called to a home on John R. Boulevard.
When they arrived, they found a 26-year-old woman dead of a gunshot wound.
Captain Jim McMillen said the SEMO Major Case Squad was activated and investigators began working the case.
About 2 hours later, officers located the woman’s husband and took him into custody.
He has not been formally charged.
