Thieves steal TV and woman's dog | Crime

You would think your pet would be safe in your yard.  You would be wrong.

A Caruthersville woman told police someone stole her female boxer from her yard.

Ruth Hinton, who lives in the 1600-block of Carroll Street, said it happened sometime between 4 and 9 a.m.

According to City Marshall Tony Jones, there are no suspects at this time and the incident is still under investigation.

In an unrelated case, Kelly Rodriguez told police she returned home Monday evening to find her apartment on East Haven had been burglarized.

The crooks reportedly stole a 52-inch flat screen TV.
