Teens accused of robbing man at gunpoint | Crime
Kennett police have arrested two teens accused of robbing a man at gunpoint.
Wednesday night, just after 8:30, officers were called to an armed robbery in the Gargus Addition. The 21-year-old victim told police 18-year-old Kyle Robinson and a 17-year-old man robbed him at gunpoint.
According to a news release from Chief Jeff Paine, the suspects “forcibly took the victim’s wallet and cell phone” then struck the man in the head with their fists before running north toward the north bypass.
Officers searched the area and found the two suspects in the 500-block of Sage Brush. Chief Paine said the officers also recovered the firearm used in the robbery, as well as the victim’s wallet and cell phone.
