Chase lands wanted man in deeper trouble | Crime
A man wanted on two outstanding warrants wound up in deeper trouble Thursday night after he led Kennett police on a chase.
Officers arrested 34-year-old Christopher L. Rogers of Kennett on two outstanding failure to appear warrants for trespass.
The arrest followed a brief foot chase that started in the 700-block of Slicer Street.
According to a news release from Lt. Tim Trowbridge of the Kennett Police Department, Rogers is being held in the Dunklin County Justice Center on $900 cash bond on the city warrants. He’s also being held pending the filing of formal charges by the state prosecuting attorney’s office for resisting arrest by fleeing.
