Kennett police searching for busy burglars | Crime
Burglars kept Kennett police busy Tuesday night.
According to Lt. Tim Trowbridge, while investigating a home break-in on South Main officers were called to another burglary in on West 5th Street.
The first break-in was reported around 9:30 p.m. According to a news release from Lt. Trowbridge, the crooks apparently broke a window to gain entry to the home. Once inside, they stole a PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, a Mac Air laptop computer and an Apple iPad.
Lt. Trowbridge said the crooks in the other burglary also entered the home through a window and stole a PlayStation 3 and a variety of jewelry. A witness described seeing three subjects, dressed in dark clothing and wearing black hoodies, running away from the area.
