According to Wikipedia, the Snowy Owl is one of the largest in North America.  Usually found in Canada, they are the official bird of Quebec.

So how did one wind up all the way down here in Mississippi County?

That's a question experts at Arkansas State University and Chris Hutchings of Gosnell are still asking.

Chris sent these photos of a baby white owl that had fallen out of its nest a few months ago.

After discovering the bird, Chris called ASU.  They came and got the foundling.  They asked Chris to wait until the nest was no longer in any danger before saying anything about his discovery.

Chris calls it a "living testament of God's saving grace."  It is pretty amazing!
