A 13-year-old Bootheel Missouri girl reported missing on Sunday has been found.
Marissa Burton left home following an argument with her mother and never returned.
At 2:45 Monday afternoon Captain Jim McMillen of the Sikeston Department of Public Safety sent an email to the local media, including Your Region 8, asking for the public's help finding her.
Less than three hours later Burton was located.
Captain McMillen of the Sikeston Department of Public Safety would like to thank everyone for their help in finding Burton.

The 13-year-old girl has been missing since Sunday afternoon.
According to a news release from DPS, Marissa walked away from her home around 2 p.m. following a heated argument with her mother.
Captain Jim McMillen said the mother allowed her daughter to leave at the time to “cool off.”
When Marissa didn’t return home, her mother became concerned and went to look for her.
Tanya Burton told police she “spent several hours” looking for her daughter before reporting her missing.
Marissa is 5’4” and weighs 135 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a Mizzou Tigers black hooded sweatshirt.
