A Qulin teen was airlifted to a Cape Girardeau hospital this morning after his car collided with a tractor.

The crash happened at 8:15 a.m. on Route N, five miles south of Qulin in Butler County.

According to Trooper B.M. Loring of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Joshua K. Woodham was passing a 2011 John Deere tractor driven by 44-year-old David A. Russell of Qulin when his 1977 Chevy struck an implement on the back.

Woodham was airlifted to St. Francis Medical Center with serious injuries.

According to the crash report, he was not wearing a seat belt.
