Car crash kills Missouri woman Thursday | News

ADVANCE, MO (KAIT) – A Stoddard County woman died in a
vehicle accident late Thursday night.

According to Missouri State Police, 28-year-old Amanda
Allenbaugh, of De Soto, was killed when the car she was riding in ran off the
roadway and overturned, striking several road signs and a utility pole.

Police say both Allenbaugh and her driver, 35-year-old
Donald Smith, of Marble Hill, were ejected from the 1999 Mercury.

Stoddard County Coroner Aaron Mathis pronounced Allenbaugh
dead at the scene.

Neither of the vehicle's occupants were wearing seatbelts.
