Head-on collision sends 3 to hospital | News

A crash Thursday night sent three teenagers to the hospital.

The crash happened just before 11 p.m. on Missouri State Highway 25 at Holcomb, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Rachel L. Sawyer, 27, of Holcomb was northbound when her 2006 Chrysler Town and Country van crossed the center line and hit a 1999 GMC Sierra Pickup truck driven by Brandon H. Wiley, 16, of Kennett.

Wiley and his passenger, 16-year-old Cheyenne L. Ivy of Kennett, were taken by ambulance to Twin Rivers Hospital in Kennett.

Also taken to the hospital was 15-year-old Makayla R. Baysinger of Holcomb, who was a passenger in Sawyer’s vehicle.

Investigators say everyone involved was wearing a safety device.
