Man killed when tractor overturns | News
A Hayti man died Tuesday when the tractor he was driving overturned.
According to Pemiscot County Sheriff Tommy Greenwell, the accident happened on Highway 567 south of State Highway O in rural Cooter, Missouri.
Investigators say it appears a rear tire slipped down an embankment, causing the tractor to overturn.
The driver, Charles Patrick Branham, was apparently trapped between the tractor and the ditch. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Pemiscot County Coroner Jim Brimhall.
