A Dexter woman was airlifted to a regional hospital after she was seriously injured in a single-car crash.

The crash happened at 3:47 a.m. Sunday on Route AF, half-mile south of Dexter.

According to Trooper M.B. Foster of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 38-year-old Randell L. Beck of Dexter was westbound when his 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix ran off the right side of the road and overturned in a ravine.

Beck was taken by ambulance to Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter with minor injuries.

His passenger, 28-year-old Misty L. Reynolds of Dexter, was airlifted to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau with serious injuries.

Trooper Foster reported neither Reynolds nor Beck was wearing a seat belt.
