A six-year-old boy was seriously injured in a crash Tuesday evening in New Madrid County.
Alexander Deprow was a passenger in a car driven by 28-year-old Amber L. Deprow of Tallapoosa.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Deprows were eastbound in a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix when they failed to yield to a 1993 Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by 18-year-old Jonathon L. Liles of Clarkton.
Corporal M. L. Scoggins says Alexander Deprow, who was not in a safety device, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
Amber Deprow was treated at the scene for minor injuries. No word on if Liles was injured.
