Man killed when his truck backs over him | News
A Region 8 man was killed Thursday morning when his pickup truck ran over him.
The accident happened at 9 a.m. on Highway 25 North in Dexter.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 82-year-old Audie F. Maze of Bloomfield was standing outside his 1989 GMC 1500 when it began to back up.
Corporal R. D. Owens of Troop E said Maze was attempting to get into the truck when it struck him and another parked vehicle.
Stoddard County Coroner Aaron Mathis pronounced Maze dead at the scene at 9:27 a.m.
