Collision sends woman to hospital | News
A collision Tuesday morning sent a Bootheel Missouri woman to the hospital.
The collision happened at 7:20 a.m. at the intersection of Route MM and Dunklin County Road 118, three miles west of Malden.
According to Sergeant S. W. Rainey of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 56-year-old Paulette C. Everett of Malden was eastbound when her 2005 Ford Taurus crossed into the path of a northbound 2006 Honda Accord driven by 58-year-old Gayla Y. Johnson of Campbell. Everett’s car then slammed into the left side of Johnson’s vehicle.
Johnson was taken by ambulance to Dexter Hospital with moderate injuries. Everett was not injured.
Sgt. Rainey reported both women were wearing their seat belts.
