A Region 8 woman was hospitalized early Wednesday morning after her SUV ran off the road, became airborne and crashed.
The accident was reported at 6 a.m. on Highway ZZ, two miles west of Dexter.
According to Trooper M. B. Foster of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 38-year-old Bethany F. Prince of Dexter was traveling south when her 2011 Jeep Cherokee ran off the left side of the road. The Jeep then struck a culvert and became airborne before slamming into a ditch.
