Patricia has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Stephens College in Columbia, MO, and a master’s of mass communications-print journalism from Arkansas State University. Following brief stints as a weekly newspaper editor, high school English teacher and radio account executive, Patricia finally found her niche in TV news.
She first joined KAIT in 1999 as a weekend producer. Within two months she was producing the noon newscast. A year later Patricia was producing both the noon and the 5 o’clock newscasts.
In September 2000 she accepted a position as morning producer at WMC in Memphis. During her tenure Patricia rose to senior producer and was tapped to create the weekend morning newscast.
After more than 7 years of commuting between Memphis and Jonesboro, Patricia returned to KAIT in 2008 to produce the 6 and 10 o’clock newscasts.
In 2011 she became KAIT’s community web producer, overseeing 12 websites.
Patricia has family scattered throughout Your Region 8, from the Ozark Gateway to the Bootheel. Her parents live in Clay County.
